The Sutton Company has been acquiring land and re-cycling older buildings in the downtown area for residential use. Two projects were renovated into luxury loft condominiums. The first project, Brazos Lofts (located at 5th and Brazos), was completed in the first quarter of 1999 while the second project, called The Avenue Lofts (located at 5th and Trinity), was completed in September of 1999. The Plaza Lofts, a new construction 14 story high rise (located at 5th and Guadalupe) was completed in mid 2002.  In addition to these projects, The Sutton Company was involved in re-developing the Littlefield Mall and Garage building located at the corner of 6th and Brazos, across from the Driskill Hotel, but the project was recently sold as part of a complete block project on Congress Ave.  All of these projects are located in downtown Austin.During the past several years The Sutton Company has established excellent working relationships in each market area with key administrators that regulate development for various governmental agencies.
